Bulk Sweet Orders for Weddings, Offices and Functions

Ordering sweets for two hundred people is a different exercise from ordering for your family, and the mistakes are more expensive.

Start with quantity. For a wedding or reception where sweets are one part of a full meal, plan on 150 to 200 g per guest. For an office Diwali distribution where the box is the whole gift, 250 to 500 g per person is normal.

Choose items that scale. Kaja, laddu, Kobbari Louz, Mysorepak and mixtures are made in large batches without loss of quality. Anything requiring individual assembly, Putharekulu especially, takes disproportionately longer at volume.

Variety beats quantity. Three or four items in a box reads as generous. Eight items in the same weight reads as fussy and costs more to assemble.

Lead time is the thing people underestimate. For orders above twenty kilos we ask for a week, and during Diwali and Sankranti considerably more. Fresh sweets cannot be stockpiled in advance, which is the whole point of them.

Bulk pricing is per kilogram rather than per pack, with a minimum weight per item, and it is meaningfully cheaper than buying the same weight in retail boxes.

For businesses ordering regularly rather than once, a merchant account gives rates negotiated for your volume. Either way, talk to us on WhatsApp before finalising numbers; we will tell you honestly what we can produce well in the time available.
